About Me

Suit, Account Handler, Marketeer,
Gameshow Winner, Amateur Athlete.
Let's start with the first question I'm always asked, it's pronounced alcohol without the al, co-hol, and if you haven't already guessed then I'm Irish. Wexford born but Wirral raised, by way of Liverpool and London.

You could say I've had an interesting career path, I've been a marine surveyor, a landscape gardener, a bricklayer and I've worked in chemical logistics before finding my passion for advertising, marketing and creativity. I'm a firm believer that the less than traditional career path I've had, has been greatly to my benefit. It's allowed me to experience much more in life and truly know where my passions lie and to have a greater understanding of the wider world.

I came into marketing and advertising through the most incredible route. I was one of the 12  lucky  grads on the 2011 Saatchi & Saatchi grad scheme.

Following on from my early grounding at Saatchi I've been lucky enough to also be part of the Ogilvy and TBWA networks in London and Manchester. Across these incredible agencies I've worked on some of the biggest clients in the country and produced some outstanding work, which you can see throughout this site.

I've had the pleasure of working on Guinness, T-mobile, SC Johnson, American Express, MBNA, First TransPennine Express, Manchester United, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Heide Park, Westland, Remington, Russell Hobbs, Eurocamp, Socceraid and Charles Wells.

As promised here are a couple of personal facts about me that you may not know:

I'm a keen sportsman and regularly play a wide variety of sports from Football to Golf to Tennis with varying degrees of success. With my sporting highlights so far being crowned U16 County champion for Football and Hockey.

I've also got an intriguing history with gameshows, I've had an interview to be on the apprentice (please don't hold that against me) and I've actually appeared on a short lived ITV gameshow called Freeze out. Which I was lucky enough to win and even luckier that it has no record of existing online, well apart from one article in which I'm quoted in the Guardian.
