First TransPennine Express wanted to promote their network and showcase why you should consider taking the train over the car for your leisure trips.

 

To do this we continued the evolution of the brands animated characters on a fantastical train journey in which each character is enjoying the freedom to express themselves in ways you simply can't when driving.

 

This campaign was executed across TV, radio, print, DOOH, ECRM, digital and social.  

It was hugely successful campaign for First TransPennine leading to an increase in sales of advance purchase tickets and Ad awareness rising to 70% - an all-time high.

First TransPennine Express also tasked us with developing their brand guidelines for their brand assets as we continued their brand evolution. To take on this task we set out to establish a document that was as in keeping with their brand as our external communications. We wanted to create a document that would instantly allow people to get a feel for the brand and understand how they wanted to communicate.
